Crafting the Visual Identity for Wisconsin’s Finest Woodworkers 

D.P. Juza Woods and Fixtures is a group of talented craftsmen who design custom wood furniture for retailers, golf shops, and country clubs. They came to us needing a visual identity that works as hard as they do. Their visual identity needed to communicate the high end, custom work they deliver for their clients.

Logo Development

The brand’s initials, “DP,” lent themself well to be turned into the dovetail joint that is often used in woodworking. This became the foundation for the icon in their logo. We paired it with a serif typeface to convey a sophisticated and classic brand.

Print Design & Collateral

The new icon and logo was fun to integrate into D.P. Juza’s collateral pieces. Our creative team went with a vertical orientation for the business card and created a cascading pattern using the “DP” dovetail shape. This same pattern was brought into the letterhead design as well.

Custom Web Design and Development, Web Copywriting

With the visual identity established, the Corporate Three Design interactive team set to work on bringing it online. The website needed large images to show off the detail of their intricate woodworking. Our copywriters developed an expanded services section and wrote the website copy with both users and search engines in mind.

In June of 2016, we launched a fully responsive version of the site to be more user-friendly for those viewing on a mobile device and increase visibility in Google’s mobile index.

Following the launch of the new DPJUZA.com website, the company has enjoyed improved traffic and success while marketing their business online.

Search Engine Optimization, Content Marketing Strategy, Social Media Automation

As part of the website redesign, we also ran an SEO audit. We noticed a few items that could be optimized to increase the company’s visibility in local search, such as verifying their location data with Google My Business.

To put their website to work even more, we developed a content strategy that renewed their focus on blogging and social media. The D.P. Juza team collaborates regularly with C3D copywriters to write fresh blog content that will keep clients informed and also increase the number of pages indexed by search engines.

With the help of some simple marketing automation, the D.P. Juza team is able to take advantage of social media platforms without spending hours each day managing their company profiles.
